Rheumatology care in Tabriz, planned from wherever you are.
If you live outside Iran, you can send your lab results, reports and medicine list before you travel, so the team knows your situation and what to expect.
Before you travel
Please send what you have. Clear copies are fine to start with.
- Recent blood and urine test results, including inflammation markers (ESR, CRP) and any antibody tests (for example ANA, RF, anti-CCP)
- Imaging reports and, if you have them, the images themselves: X-rays, ultrasound or MRI of the affected joints
- Your medication history: the medicines you take now and those you took before, with the dates and why they were changed or stopped
- Earlier diagnoses, reports from previous specialists, and any hospital discharge notes
- Your allergies and other long-term conditions
Send these through our international support line on WhatsApp or by phone: +989302272111

Treatment and follow-up
Examination and any treatment take place in Tabriz. Follow-up after you return home is planned with you. Rheumatic conditions are long-term, so regular monitoring is part of the plan.
Online or phone consultation, costs, accommodation options and the languages the doctor speaks are being confirmed.
In an emergency while you are in Iran, call 115, Iran's emergency number. It is different from the international support line above.

Practical questions
Can a diagnosis be made from my records alone?
Not usually. A review of your records helps the doctor understand your situation and say what is likely to be needed, but a diagnosis and treatment plan are made after an examination.
Should I stop or change my medicines before I travel?
No. Keep taking your medicines as prescribed and do not stop or change any of them, especially corticosteroids, without your own doctor. Bring the list with you.
How long would I need to stay in Tabriz?
It depends on what tests and visits you need. The doctor will give an estimate once your records have been reviewed.
Can a companion come with me?
Yes, companions are welcome. The support team can help with their accommodation too.
What about language?
An interpreter can be arranged if you need one. Please tell us your language when you contact us.
How do I pay?
Payment details are explained with your plan, before you decide to travel.
What number do I call in an emergency?
115 is Iran's emergency number. It works only while you are in Iran. From abroad, use your local emergency number.
Every patient's treatment plan is different; ask your doctor about your own situation.
